It’ll all be over by Christmas
Our Autumn production focuses on the lives and loves of the Hutchinson family, as they live through the First World War. Re-told through readings and songs, we remember them.
This is a very special script for us, as it was written by two local authors and friends of the Players, Gill Barlow and Colin Worswick, and has been adapted to fit in with the Nunthorpe area especially.
Our Saturday afternoon matinee also includes afternoon tea, served to your table by our very own Nippies, reminiscent of the wartime Lyon’s tea houses.
Handmade poppies will be on sale at the performances, made and donated by friends, members and supporters of the society, with proceeds going to the Royal British Legion.
Tickets will be available three weeks before opening night, with reminders and alerts going out through our Facebook feed. We look forward to seeing you all there.
