Auditions for our autumn production, Gill Barlow and Colin Worswick’s moving ensemble piece set during the First World War will be held on Tuesday July 17th and Thursday July 19th.
Tuesday 17th auditions will be held at Marton Community Centre, 7.30. Thursday 19th will be at Langdon Square Community Centre, 7.00 (please note the different start times – this is to avoid too much overlap with the very noisy Zumba class in the next room at Marton!)
We are looking for participants of all ages, genders and acting ability! Some parts are for readers who will not even be required to learn lines, so if you have never been on the stage before, now is a good time to start, just come along and give it a go.
Those auditioning will be required to read and act part of the script. You can prepare beforehand – audition pieces will soon be available, please contact email@example.com for further information (and subject to copyright permission being given I will post them on this site). You will have to read, with others auditioning for parts in a small group, in front of a small panel – this will be the two directors plus at least one, possibly two other members of the committee. You don’t have to learn the audition piece.
There is some singing in the play, you MAY be asked to sing as part of the audition.
If you want to know more, either contact Julie Hobson at firstname.lastname@example.org or just come along to the play reading on 15th July at St. Mary’s Church Hall, Supper Room, 6 pm.
