Plaza Suite – auditions.

Play reading – Sunday March 11th, St. Mary’s Church Hall, 7.30 pm. This is an informal group reading of the script. This is not part of the audition process, just a chance for anyone who wants to find out about the play to read it. Audition pieces will be available at this reading for those who want to prepare for the auditions on Tuesday and Thursday. Please note – the kitchens at the Church Hall are currently being upgraded and facilities are limited. Although we hope to have a kettle to make tea/coffee we can’t absolutely guarantee it!

Auditions: Tuesday 13th March, 7.00-9.00 at Marton Community Centre (TS7 8PZ) OR Thursday 15th March, 7.00-9.00 at Langdon Square Community Centre (TS8 0TF). You only need to come to one of the two auditions. You will be asked to read parts of the play as the character(s) for which you want to audition (don’t know what you want to audition for? Come along to the play reading!) in front of a small panel consisting of the directors of the three plays (Ivan Limon, Sara Ramrekha and Julie Hobson) and a fourth panel member from the Players’ committee (Jenni Bradley our wardrobe supervisor). You will be performing just for these people (and if the scene is a duologue, with another reader). Copies of audition pieces will be available in advance – please come to the play reading on 11th March or contact the secretary at nunthorpeplayers@gmail.com

If you have any difficulty with reading please let us know beforehand so we can help you.

Please note – American accents are required for all parts.

More details of the characters will follow.
